Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Web RTC Developer to join our team at Twixor. As a Web RTC Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing real-time communication solutions using WebRTC technology. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable WebRTC applications. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and is a full-time opportunity.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience in developing WebRTC applications
- Strong proficiency in WebRTC technology
- Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js
- Knowledge of audio and video codecs
- Understanding of real-time communication protocols (e.g., SIP, WebSocket)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WebRTC applications and libraries
- Implement real-time communication features such as audio/video calls, chat messaging, and screen sharing
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement the WebRTC solution architecture
- Optimize WebRTC applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to WebRTC functionality and performance
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in WebRTC technology and best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools
