Institutional Securities Tech Institutional Securities Technology (IST) develops and oversees the overall technology strategy and bespoke technology solutions to drive and enable the institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions. IST's 'clients' include Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Investment Banking, Research, Prime Brokerage and Global Capital Markets. We have built strong techno-functional teams which partner with our offices globally taking global ownership of systems and products. Institutional Securities Technology (IST) develops and oversees the overall technology strategy and technology solutions to drive and enable the Institutional businesses and enterprise-wide functions. Fixed Income Technology is part of IST. We work closely with Sales & Trading and Quantitative Strategists team to develop next generation risk and trading systems to achieve their business goals. ' Primary Skill Strong academic record with Bachelor's level or above in a computational field like Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline 10 years financial industry software experience, and minimum 4 year of experience in management of technology teams Strong software engineering, analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills including experience speaking to technical and business colleagues and working globally Hands on experience in designing large scale distributed systems Proactive and able to work independently Desired Skill Experience of fixed income front office system development Experience of building technology development team from scratch Experience of managing multiple teams Experience working and building relationship with front office users Morgan Stanley is an equal opportunities employer.
