Trade Head - MBO & Exhibition


Job Description:
As the Trade Head for Multi-Brand Outlets (MBOs) and Exhibition Handling, you will be responsible for spearheading our brand's presence and sales strategy. Your role will involve a blend of strategic planning, relationship management, and operational execution to drive sales and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for multi-brand outlets (MBOs) to achieve revenue targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with the sales team to set realistic sales targets and develop action plans to achieve them.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including MBO owners, retail partners, and exhibition organizers.
- Negotiate favorable terms and agreements with partners to ensure optimal placement, visibility, and support for our brand.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all trade-related inquiries and issues, providing timely resolution and exceptional service.
Exhibition Planning and Execution:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute participation in exhibitions, trade shows, and other promotional events in Gurgaon.
- Liaise with internal teams, including marketing, design, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of exhibition plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of each exhibition, gathering feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
Brand Representation:
- Serve as the brand ambassador at trade events, effectively communicating our brand's values, vision, and product offerings.
- Ensure that our brand is represented consistently and professionally across all touchpoints, including displays, signage, and promotional materials.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Track and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights, achievements, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience in trade sales, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
- Strong understanding of retail dynamics, including MBO operations and exhibition management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and develop actionable insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Flexibility to travel and work on weekends or evenings as needed.
