AddressAbout the job : We are looking for enthusiastic professionals (preferably CFA charter holder) having sound expertise in investment portfolio management in an Asset Management Company or have worked in fund management team of related business entity dealing with Mutual Funds.
Responsibilities :
1. Conduct a thorough fundamental and technical analysis of the sector. To determine the right kind of sector that the fund needs to invest in to fulfill its objectives.
2. Evaluate potential investment opportunities, including conducting in-depth sector analysis, financial statement analysis, understanding regulatory frameworks, preparing financial models, and utilizing valuation metrics.
3. Responsible for taking all the investment decisions involving the fund. This includes picking the right assets and allocating the appropriate amount of funds to each asset.
4. The Fund Manager ensures that the investment strategy for the respective fund is always followed without any deviations whatsoever.
5. Since global events influence financial markets a great deal, the Fund Manager is required to keep a close watch. In the event of any untoward economic or political incidents, they take investment decisions quickly to reduce the negative impact on the portfolio.
6. Ensures Regulatory Compliance by adhering to a certain set of guidelines and meet all the reporting requirements. The Fund Manager takes care of all these activities and ensures that regulatory compliance is always on point.
Qualifications & Experience : Post Graduation with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in Fund Management Role and Qualified CFA charter.
