AddressJob Description: We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Debt Capital Market Origination Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in originating Debt Capital Market transactions for our clients. The candidate needs to show demonstrated ability to cultivate effective client relationships and to hold proven execution track record of successful deal flow.
Responsibilities:
- Originate, structure, and execute Debt Capital Market transactions, including bond issuances, private placements, and syndicated loans.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, financial institutions, and investors to identify new business opportunities.
- Lead client meetings and presentations to pitch Debt Capital Market solutions and advise clients on financing strategies.
- Conduct detailed due diligence and credit analyses, using both qualitative and quantitative factors, on rated and unrated private placement candidates and make recommendations based on the analyses
- Negotiate terms and conditions of private placement transactions, optimizing terms for both the client and the firm
- Collaborate with internal teams, including investment banking, legal, and compliance, to coordinate deal execution and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, assess market conditions, and evaluate competitive landscape.
- Prepare marketing materials, pitch books, and offering memoranda to support client engagements and presentations.
- Manage the end-to-end transaction process, from deal origination to closing, including due diligence, documentation, and negotiation.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and market trends affecting Debt Capital Markets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Master's degree or CFA designation preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Debt Capital Markets, investment banking, or corporate finance.
- Proven track record of successfully originating and executing Debt Capital Market transactions.
- Strong understanding of debt instruments, Capital Markets, and financial modelling techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bloomberg, and other financial analysis tools.
- Regulatory knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements related to Debt Capital Markets.
