Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and prioritize defects, ensuring accurate and detailed descriptions for efficient resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and design test cases that effectively validate software functionality and user experience.
- Utilize testing tools and frameworks to automate repetitive test cases and improve testing efficiency.
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover usability issues, edge cases, and potential areas of improvement.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews to provide testing status updates and identify potential risks.
- Maintain test environments and test data to ensure consistency and reliability across testing cycles.
- Continuously monitor and improve the Quality Assurance process, identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on testing progress, defect metrics, and overall product quality to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Tester or similar role, with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques and test case management tools.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and isolate issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
