Job title - Export - Sales
Reporting to - Director - Sales & Marketing
Location - Ahmedabad
Education : Bachelor's/Master's in Business Administration or related field
Purpose of the position:
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of international trade, including developing new export markets, managing existing customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with all regulations and laws.
- Expected to have an in-depth knowledge of global trade and keen eye for detail.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify, Develop and Implement export strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs.
- Prepare export documentation such as invoices, packing lists and bills of Lading
- Establish and manage relationships with international partners., including distributors, agents and vendors
- Monitor international regulations and compliance requirements
- Negotiate shipping contracts and freight forwarding agreements
- Liaise with customs authorities and other government bodies to ensure compliance with regulations
- Develop and maintain export databases, records and reports
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback
- Address customer inquiries and complaints
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize export operations
- Monitor sales, plant production, dispatch and payments.
