Senior Human Resources Officer - Payroll & HRMS


Position Summary :
- The Senior HR Officer (SHRO) is a key member of the Human Resources team, directly reporting to the Head of Human Resources and Organizational Culture.
- In this critical role, the SHRO collaborates closely with the HR team and engages with all employees.
- The primary responsibilities encompass various HR functions, including HR Information System management, attendance and leave administration, insurance and health oversight, contract preparation, employee evaluations, and participation in staff engagement programs.


- The SHRO also plays a vital role in conducting internal audits, ensuring compliance, and maintaining comprehensive documentation, providing essential support to the Head of HR across various HR initiatives and processes.
Position Responsibilities:
HR Information System:
- Assist the Head of HR in leading new projects including HRMIS new software updates and transition management at AES.
- Provide training to employees in using the new HRMS portal.
- Prepare various MIS reports.
- Attendance/Leave/Overtime
- Prepare periodic MIS leave and attendance reports to concerned departments.
- Collate the annual workday planners for Non-Teaching Staff.
- Provide support on leave portal issues faced by employees.
- Insurance and Health (Overseas/Local - Health/Life/Long-Term Disability/PAI)
- Under general guidance from the Head of HR, seek quotes from insurance companies to renew the various insurance policies managed by the HR department.
- Complete the process leading to the final agreement, membership cards, and payment.
- Validate payroll inputs and provide backup support for the payroll processing officer as and when needed.
- Assist with staff planning, budgeting and reports as and when needed.
- Support the recruitment process, including preliminary interviews, as and when needed.
- Assist the Head of HR in staff engagement programs.
- Conduct bi-annual internal audits of all HR processes.
- Support the Head of HR in performance evaluations and any other area as needed.
