Senior Architect

Candidate should have a track record of designing and delivering high-end, exclusive, and complex architectural projects. Luxury projects are usually high-value projects that require significant attention to detail, creativity, and quality. The projects can range from residential properties such as villas, mansions, and penthouses, to commercial properties such as hotels, resorts, hospitals, and shopping centers. These projects often require a bespoke and personalised design approach, focusing on creating unique, innovative, and visually stunning spaces.
Roles:● Leading the design process and overseeing the development of architectural plans and drawings for luxury projects● Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other team members to identify project requirements and design objectives● Providing guidance and mentorship to junior architects, designers, and other team members● Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders, and managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle● Ensuring that all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and sustainability principles● Managing the project budget, schedule, and resources, and ensuring that the project is delivered on time and within budget● Conducting site visits and inspections to ensure that construction work is progressing according to the design plans and specifications● Participating in business development activities, including preparing proposals, attending networking events, and identifying new opportunities for the firm
Responsibilities:● Developing design concepts, sketches, and renderings to communicate ideas to clients and stakeholders● Creating detailed construction drawings, specifications, and other documents to guide the construction process● Conducting feasibility studies and site analysis to determine the suitability of a site for a particular project● Selecting materials, finishes, and furnishings that are appropriate for the project and meet the client's requirements and budget● Managing the coordination and integration of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural engineering● Ensuring that all designs incorporate sustainable design principles and energy-efficient technologies● Reviewing contractor bids and negotiating contracts to ensure that they are competitive and meet the project requirements● Managing change orders and resolving conflicts that arise during the construction process● Monitoring the progress of the project and providing regular updates to the client and other stakeholders.● Ability to prepare BOQs
Qualifications● Bachelor's or Master's degree in interior design or a related field.● At least 7-10 years of experience in architecture, with a focus on high-end residential or commercial projects.● Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.● Strong project management skills, with experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate design concepts and ideas effectively to clients, contractors, and team members.● Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and manage a team of designers.● Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Candidate should preferably have experience working on hospital and medical planning projects
