The IT Application and Integration Architect will primarily be responsible for ensuring application and Integration systems are designed, engineered, and implemented to meet operational and strategic requirements.
Core activities.
- Lead the Architecture and Engineering team, providing guidance to the team members in designing and building systems based on operational and strategic requirements.
- Lead the program of works to analyse, design, engineer and implement integration solutions, that will improve business process efficiencies and total cost of ownership.
- Lead the program of works to identify and continuously remove technical debt within the technology eco-system.
- Lead the program of works to analyse and continuously improve the software development lifecycle tools and processes, with a view to automate activities, reduce defects, increase security, and improve efficiencies.
- Develop solutions for ongoing strategic and operational requirements and guide senior developers and developers in engineering and implementing the solutions to meet these requirements.
- Review and sign-off on detailed designs produced by senior developers.
- Be accountable for the security and performance of the Amazon Web Services environment with the Application and Data Administrator being responsible for the activities.
Skills and Experience
- 10-15years of experience in senior technology solutioning roles in complex environments
- Strong experience in designing and implementing complex system to system integration solutions.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing complex application systems.
- Strong experience in implementing efficient and automated software development lifecycle tools and processes.
- Strong experience in leading and mentoring teams consisting of senior technical resources spread across multiple geographic regions.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong user relationship and stakeholder management skills
