Form of work Job Summary: Building performant and beautiful mobile apps on both the iOS and Android platforms using the React Native framework.
Job Responsibility:
Architect, build and maintain React Native applications with clean code.
Leverage native APIs for integrations with both platforms.
Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.
Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.
Specification / Skills / Experience:
In addition to possessing good communication skills, being self-motivated, focused on delivery and paying attention to detail, the candidate should have excellent knowledge and experience in the following technologies/areas:
Primary Skills (Must have):
Strong proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript with ES6+ syntax
Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
Experience with React Hooks, Functional and Class based Components.
Experience in developing React Native app for ios and android platform and an understanding of React Native best practices
Knowledge of functional and object oriented programming
Familiarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle
Knowledge of major node modules such as react-native-maps, @react-native/community geolocation, offline database, inbuilt AsyncStorage etc.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
Secondary Skills (Nice to have)
Experience with Firebase or AWS Mobile Hub
