Program Manager - Global logistics analytics

This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

What you'll do:

Job Family Definition:

Designs, develops and applies programs, methodologies and systems based on advanced analytic models (e.g. advanced statistics, operations research, computer science, process) to transform structured and unstructured data into meaningful and actionable information insights that drive decision making.

Uses visualization techniques to translate analytic insights into understandable business stories (eg. descriptive, inferential and predictive insights).

Embeds analytics into client's business processes and applications. Combines business acumen and scientific methods to solve business problems.

Management Level Definition:

Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues and recommends appropriate alternatives. Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitating information validation and team decision-making process. Exercises independent judgment to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations. May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand business needs and objectives

  • Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting

  • Define company-wide metrics and relevant data sources

  • Select, configure and implement analytics solutions

  • Oversee all analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality

  • Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights

  • Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance

What you need to bring:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Master's degree in the area of data analytics

  • 5 years of experience in the design and execution of data analytics for the supply chain domain

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of the logistics domain and processes

  • Advanced knowledge of analytics, KPI reporting & visualization

  • Hands-on experience with MS Power-BI, SQL

  • Understanding of data engineering, data transformation procedures

  • PMO skill sets
