Role Description
Lingaya's Vidyapeeth is seeking a Full-time Professor / Associate Professor in Fashion Design to join our team. As a Professor/Associate Professor in Fashion Design, responsibilities include designing and delivering courses, updating curriculum to reflect industry trends, conducting research, mentoring students, participating in administrative duties, fostering industry connections, and contributing to the academic community. Additionally, engagement in professional development, innovative teaching methods, and promotion of diversity are integral. Upholding ethical standards and serving as a role model within the academic community are essential aspects of the role. This is an on-site role located in Faridabad.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Textile Apparel Design
- IT Skiils - Corel draw, Photoshop & Illustrator
- Strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills
- Develop and deliver courses in Fashion Design, theory, and related subjects.
- Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
- Mentor students in design projects, fostering their creative and professional development.
