Production Merchandiser

Studio Covers is a home furnishings company that works primarily in three verticals: hotel projects, residential projects, and our D2C brand. We are looking at bringing on board a talented and experienced Production Merchandiser as a part of our team on a full-time basis.
This is an in-office position from our offiice in Sector-60, Noida.
You will be responsible for overseeing and managing production and manufacturing processes (in-house, contractual, and outsourced) to ensure optimization of all resources, labour, materials, and raw materials.
Roles and Responsibilities:1. Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet management expectations.2. Analyze and prepare job cards for the karigars.3. Ensure that all the necessary materials are available for production.4. Create and maintain production schedules and prioritize job-orders for production optimization.5. Ensure that the karigars follow the schedule provided. Maintain a record of each worker’s productivity and quantity so that their incentives and appraisals are performance-based.6. Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite the flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation as per the production flow chart and production monitoring sheet.7. Complete status reports for production progress, work in process and raw material inventory.8. Ensure that the SOPs for production, quality control, and packaging are followed as per the guidelines provided.9. Prepare and share bottleneck analysis to improve the production.10. To oversee the inventory executive to ensure that all stock is maintained properly.11. To maintain a healthy discipline in the workshop such that no time or material is wasted.12. Ensure that the workshop is well organized.
You may be asked to perform additional duties at a lower level or higher level in absence of colleagues.
Skills:MUST HAVE: A minimum or a Bachelor’s degree in any field.MUST HAVE: Good English and Hindi skills.MUST HAVE: Ability to work on the computer.MUST HAVE: Detail-oriented, ability to prioritize tasks with strict deadlinesMUST HAVE: Great follow up skills.MUST HAVE: Prior experience working in the home furnishings industry.GOOD TO HAVE: Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in merchandising, production, and quality control.GOOD TO HAVE: Candidates with at least 3 years of full time work experience in the industry will be given preference.
