Amazon is seeking a Product Manager Tech Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) who will be part of a start-up group that’s defining and rolling out tech solutions for our last mile transport related business.
We have big goals and we want a Product Manager who is excited about the early stages of a business and the impact they can make for our customers!
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Owning, building and driving tech requirements for EU AMXL last mile business and be a key part of our business with Tech and Operations.
Partnering with key stakeholders to define the product strategy.
Manage prioritization and trade-offs for speed to market, performance and features.
Promoting data-driving decision making throughout the team.
Addressing barriers through problem solving and coordination with stakeholders.
Partnering with other teams across Logistics to identify and influence development of new products and services.
Build and manage high quality product roadmaps based on your vision and strategy.
Gain support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership.
Creating program goals and related metrics, track progress and manage through obstacles to achieve your objectives.
Communicating performance, articulating root-cause analysis and linking to specific improvement areas.
Sharing best practices with other Amazon teams.
This role is part of the Worldwide AMXL Program which is an initiative designed to help Amazon improve and expand the delivery of large items and those requiring special handling and additional services for exceptional customer experience. The target is to grow this business in EU with excellent customer experience and cost position. This Product Manager will be a resourceful and confident team player who can think out of the box in an ambiguous problem space, and is willing to roll up their sleeves to build a program that will significantly impact Amazon’s last mile delivery capabilities globally.
Basic Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or related fields
· Knowledge of Working on Front End Experiences
· 5+ years work experience managing multiple competing priorities and engaging technical & non-technical stakeholders
· Ability to work with teams at all levels of the organization and apply concepts to different countries
· Experience shaping business strategy for technical products or services
Preferred Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· MBA or Master’s degree in Engineering, Management, or Technology preferred
· Experience building roadmaps, managing product backlogs, and working closely with software development teams to build new products in a start up environment
· Strong process engineering abilities
· Exhibits excellent business judgment
· Experience using data to illustrate business conclusions
· Strong critical thinking skills with ability to challenge normal operations
· Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
· Strong bias for action and be able to work iteratively
· Ability to communicate clearly and compellingly and who understands how to drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong and talented team
· An innovative thinker who also has a strong customer and quality focus
· Has an entrepreneurial spirit
