AddressProduct Head - US Healthcare Firm
We are seeking a strong software Product Head to work with our team environment in order to deliver the best software platform to our innovative and industry-leading clients.
The Product Head will set the product vision, strategy, execution of the suite of products that would be launched under our new company. You will work directly with the visionary co-founders of the company to re-define the US Healthcare industry, one life at a time. You will be responsible for roadmap development and will guide a highly skilled engineering team to build the product suite. Excellent communication skills are vital since you will be working with multiple stakeholders across the organization, including co-founders, customers, engineers, marketing teams and product designers. Candidates are required to have management experience, US Healthcare experience and a strong product portfolio.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strategy and Vision
- Work with the co-founders to define product vision, road-map, and growth opportunities.
- Lead the planning of product release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities.
- Provide vision and direction to the agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements.
- Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product.
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value aligned with product strategy.
- Research and Market Analysis
- Conduct Market and User Research to identify pain points in the US Healthcare industry and identify product innovations and differentiators.
- Research and analyze the market, the users, and the roadmap for the product and make necessary recommendations.
- Actively follow industry trends, key players, and competition.
- Additionally, assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products
- Product Leadership and Management
- Collaborate with the technical lead to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
- Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories.
- Contribute towards identifying business case and financial models.
- Lead the requirements gathering effort on the epics as needed - consulting with product management, implementations, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting the successful team completion of release/sprint goals
- Team and Stakeholder Collaboration
- Help define Product GTM (Go-To-Market) along with the marketing and leadership team.
- Attend scrum meetings including standups, retrospectives, and demos.
- Demonstrate the latest iterations to stakeholders and gather feedback.
- Keep abreast with agile/scrum best practices and new trends.
Qualifications:
- B.S. and an advanced degree in a technical field required
- 15+ years of experience as a product leader with a strong understanding of US Healthcare market
- Strategic & creative thinker with the ability to craft go-to-market strategies and campaigns in collaboration with marketing
- Demonstrated knowledge of operational issues with managing and rolling out highly scalable technology platforms
- Able to formulate and implement global strategies for products
- Customer-centric mindset with the capability of translating that into the product development process
- Successfully implemented data-driven processes to turn a vision into an actionable roadmap
- People leader with demonstrated success in leading and mentoring the research, design, and development team
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Understand the user experience and design
- Direct experience with digital management software or workplace collaboration software is desired
- Able to distill product roadmaps into digestible and relevant presentations to key customers and partners
- Drive product analytics to understand feature usage, comprehension, and optimization
- Excellent verbal and oral communication skills
