Our team is responsible for delivering the Java platform that is used by millions of developers. We are looking for a seasoned engineer with a thorough understanding of infrastructure and automation methodologies, a passion for quality, a strong technical background to advance our processes, and a desire to make a positive change in our product.Responsibilities:We hire developers to write code to create new, maintain existing Infrastructure service to build, test and release the Java Platform product. Growth in this role means growing as an engineer: strong designs that are built to last, deep component knowledge and broad scenario experience will be measures of success as a candidate grows in this role. The primary focus for this position will be on infrastructure server technologies.· A strong technical background as well as good verbal and written communication skills.· Candidates with professional experience and knowledge of Software infrastructure - Continuous Integration, Release Engineering, Quality testing framework, test harness.· Designing and developing tools/frameworks to improve efficiency and automation· Ensuring timely software releases by improving efficiency, productivity and consistency through robust and automation of infrastructure serviceJob Requirement:· B Tech in a Computer Science, Software or other Engineering· 7+ years of experience in Software Development· Strong Java knowledge· Hands on expertise with developing multi-threaded, high availability Java applications· Strong expertise on concurrency, multi-threading and collections· Good understanding of Cloud, related technologies and administration· Hands on experience on GIT· Experience in writing shell scripts, Linux administration· Strong background with build automation technologies (Make, Ant, Maven, Gradle)· Strong exposure on Building infrastructure, tools and processes for continuously integration(Jenkins or equivalent)· Strong exposure on one or more configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet· Strong exposure on writing Docker images and setting up build/test environments· Extensive troubleshooting experience· Ability to thrive and grow in a fast-paced team environment.· Ability to conceive, plan, implement, and collaborate with distributed teams on process improvements and productivity enhancement toolsDesired Skills:· Java Certification· Experience with Mesos or a task distribution system· Experience in any networking technologies is a plus· Experience working with Atlassian products such as Wiki, JIRA etc
