What you’ll do
The General Corporate Security Specialist focuses upon maintaining and operating the physical security policies, standards and compliance including personnel security, vetting, travel security and personal security for senior executives. To include controlling access to facilities, equipment and resources, and protecting personnel and property from damage or harm. Including CCTV surveillance, security guards, protective barriers, locks, access control protocols. The General Corporate Security Specialist has as a good understanding of established concepts and procedures of corporate security and ensures the management system is maintained for relevant activities. Typically reports to the General Corporate Security Manager.
Who you are

* Good understanding of procedures and concepts through extensive experience, effectively delivering remedial actions following security breaches;


* Uses judgement based on the analysis of reports and security status� to deliver security processes and services;


* Exchanges ideas and information in a concise and logical way across the immediate team and other teams who's work activities are closely related ensuring appropriate risk assessments and security plans are maintained and delivered;


* Possesses extensive experience in corporate security advises stakeholders on remedial actions using established procedures and concepts following security breaches;


* Documents and evaluates the results from security status reporting ensuring security plans are adhered too and best practices are followed;


* Performs job related duties in adherence to the policy frameworks ensuring compliance with frameworks.
