JOB DESCRIPTION


Asia Core Cash Operations is responsible for completing fund transfer requests/payments received from our clients both financial & non-financial institutions.

Job summary:

As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst in Asia Core Cash Operations, you will be directly responsible for the day to day operations, including transaction processing – payments and receivable; ecommerce payments; client service & and database controls. You will be responsible for understanding the key metrics and risk components and support the operations lead to meet the financial goals and objectives put forth by the LOB, while partnering globally with the regions where the business operations are located.

Job Responsibilities:

1. a. Process Payments (Electronics & Manuals): Transaction monitoring and processing. Serve as either maker , checker or authorizer of the transactions received. Ensure that transactions are completed accurately and that high value, urgent transactions are prioritized.
b. Provide Support: Complete accurately the tasks assigned for the process within the cut-off time. May serve as either maker or checker of the task.
2. Ensure that the checklist is followed and queue is monitored at all times.
3. Monitor and respond to email correspondence from In-country and both internal and external clients.
4. Assist in issue resolution and providing incident report in case of errors.
5. Escalate issues as soon as identified.
6. Complete all mandatory trainings assigned prior to set due date.
7. Be a back-up for other processes of ACCO as long as no segregation of duty issue identified.
8. Perform product verification tests (PVTs) on the system as and when required.
9. Provide process improvements to enhance the system and participate in projects call as and when needed.
10. Deliver on reports and administrative tasks assigned.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Has at least 5 years work experience in payment operations/cash operations
  • Understanding of and experience in Payments, Swift, Correspondent banking etc.
  • Client focus minded
  • Knowledge of various aspects of International Payment Processing Operations
  • Working/Expert Knowledge of SWIFTS & international payment conventions & practices is a must.
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills across various stakeholders and senior management
  • Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills
  • Fluent written and oral communication skills in English.
