Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons on optometry topics, ensuring students grasp and retain the information effectively.
• Provide one-on-one guidance and mentorship to students, helping them develop clinical skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Create and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Facilitate hands-on practical training and lab sessions, ensuring students gain proficiency in optometry techniques and equipment usage.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in optometry.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing optometrist.
• Hold a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in vision assessment, diagnosing eye conditions, prescribing corrective lenses, and managing eye health.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to effectively teach and mentor students.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
