The role calls for a dynamic leader with a passion for production excellence, poised to steer a seasoned team and drive operational success. This role requires overseeing and optimizing all operational facets, ensuring seamless production, maintaining top-notch quality, and spearheading a substantial team to meet production objectives. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive textile industry expertise, specifically in bathmat production, and a successful tenure in senior leadership roles, showcasing excellence in Production Planning and Control (PPC). A minimum of 10 years experience with 5+ years of experience as an operation head of a manufacturing plant.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning:Contribute to formulating and executing manufacturing strategies aligned with company goals to enhance efficiency and profitability.Production Planning and Control:Direct all manufacturing processes, developing comprehensive PPC strategies to meet targets and optimize resources.Operations Management:Supervise the end-to-end bathmat production process, from raw material procurement to final product delivery.Ensure seamless production planning, scheduling, and coordination to meet targets and customer demands.Implement best practices for heightened operational efficiency and process enhancements.Maintain stringent quality control measures surpassing industry standards.Team Leadership:Provide adept leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the production team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.Set performance benchmarks, conduct regular evaluations, and provide constructive feedback to amplify team performance.Budgeting and Cost Control:Develop and manage budgets, overseeing production costs, labor expenses, and capital investments.Instill cost-effective measures to optimize production expenses and augment profitability.Monitor financial reports, promptly addressing deviations from targets.Supplier and Vendor Management:Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.Negotiate contracts, evaluate supplier performance, and identify avenues for cost savings and process enhancements.Health and Safety Compliance:Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a secure work environment.Implement and enforce standard operating procedures for hazard minimization and accident prevention.Performance Reporting:Deliver regular, comprehensive reports on plant operations and performance to the CEO and COO.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Textile Technology, or related field. Master’s degree in Textile Technology preferred.Minimum 10 years' experience in senior positions within the textile industry, specifically in bathmat production.Proven expertise in PPC and supply chain management.Extensive experience in workforce management and leadership.Solid knowledge of industry best practices, lean manufacturing, and quality assurance processes.Required Skills:Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels.Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Proficiency in project management and performance metrics.Demonstrated leadership managing large teams.Proficiency in MS Office and relevant production management software.Working Conditions:This role will be primarily based at our manufacturing plant in Dadra, Gujarat.
