Skills"\u2022 4+ years of Murex BA experience\n\u2022 Minimum 3 Years of Murex Accounting configuration experience\n\u2022 Understand the concept of journal posting and balances for accounting in Murex\n\u2022 Experience in setting up accounting rules, accounts, filters and formulas\n\u2022 Familiar with accounting configuration setup and EOD\n\u2022 Experience in accounting configuration in Murex\n\u2022 Experience in using basic tools (such as excel) to perform reconciliation\n\u2022 Knowledge of trade life cycle & events and how they are handled in Murex for IRD, FI & Credit. Especially experience in Rates"
Responsibilities"\u2022 Stream member in Murex Accounting\n\u2022 Participate in various changes and projects for the stream\n\u2022 Engage users to gather, capture, and document on accounting treatment for various financial products.\n\u2022 Analyse requirements and assess feasibility of implementation in Murex.\n\u2022 Design and configure accounting rules based on the requirements, including configuration of accounts, filters and formulas.\n\u2022 Perform testing, capture output, and document results.\n\u2022 Reconcile expected results and actual results.\n\u2022 Identify discrepancies and the possible causes.\n\u2022 Escalate identified issues and analyse if any alternative methods are feasible as a workaround.\n\u2022 Ensures documentation and deliverables are consistent with defined standards.\n\u2022 Suggest possible alternative approaches for a more efficient and scalable configuration and maintenance."
