Summary: As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Oracle database infrastructure. Your typical day will involve performing database administration tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring database security and performance. Roles & Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain the Oracle database infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and upgrades. - Perform database administration tasks, such as backup and recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting issues. - Ensure database security by implementing access controls, monitoring user activity, and applying security patches. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure database availability and performance, and to support application development and deployment. - Develop and maintain database documentation, including data models, database schemas, and data dictionaries. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in Oracle Database Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in Exadata Administration. - Experience in database backup and recovery, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. - Knowledge of database security best practices, including access controls and security patches. - Experience in database modeling and design, including data models, database schemas, and data dictionaries. - Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to support application development and deployment. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful database solutions. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
