We are seeking a talented and dynamic individual to join our team as a Garments Industry Merchandiser. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.
*Responsibilities:**
1. **Product Development:** Collaborate with design teams to develop new garment designs and collections that meet market trends and customer demands.
2. **Sourcing and Procurement:** Identify and establish relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and ensure timely delivery of materials and components required for production.
3. **Order Management:** Manage the end-to-end process of order placement, tracking, and fulfillment to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
4. **Costing and Pricing:** Conduct cost analysis and pricing negotiations to optimize profit margins while maintaining. competitiveness in the market.
5. **Quality Control:** Implement and maintain quality control standards throughout the production process to ensure the highest level of product quality and consistency.
6. **Communication:** Act as a liaison between internal departments, including design, production, and sales, to ensure alignment on product specifications, timelines, and customer requirements.
7. **Market Research:** Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to inform product development and marketing strategies.
8. **Problem Solving:** Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the production process to minimize disruptions and ensure timely resolution.
*Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in merchandising or related roles within the garments industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, materials, and technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
