AddressPOSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Supply Chain Optimization Program Manager is responsible for providing leadership, insight, and structure in the design and application of the Supply Chain network Digital Twin. This leader will build & maintain digital twin, designs optimal flows, modes, and nodes in the global network through data analysis, validation, model-building, scenario analysis, business case development, and alignment with stakeholders across the operating units, regions, and functions.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Supply Chain design projects including scoping, data collection and modeling
- Global network modeling including scoping, data collection, data validation, scenario development, scenario evaluation, business case development and recommendation delivery.
- Support the Global Network Enablement process and Operating Units or Regions to generate ideas, scope projects, complete feasibility analysis, identify end-to-end Supply Chain impact including cost, service, sustainability, and resiliency, and hand-off for planning and implementation
- Leverage the Digital Twin to proactively identify network opportunities to reduce cost and working capital, emissions, and improve service and BCP.
- Play a key role in the design, implementation, validation, maintenance, use cases, and roadmap of the Medtronic Global Supply Chain Digital Twin and other network optimization and simulation tools.
HIGHLY PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to lead global projects through influence with executive stakeholders.
- Experience working with SAP Supply Chain data and/or Advanced Planning systems
- Experience using and manipulating large data sets.
- Experience working across an end-to-end Supply Chain network including manufacturing, sterilization, distribution, and inventory.
- Experience in managing any Supply Chain functions like supply planning or logistics operations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience using LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru, Data Guru, and/or cloud Supply Chain design platform.
- Supply Chain Project experience, including network optimization for manufacturing and distribution networks, and inventory optimization.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word)
- Basic understanding of ETL and Dashboarding Tools like Altryx, SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, Snowflake
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Strong project management skills
