Job description

The Digital media and Social campaign Manager at Maersk is responsible for overseeing the paid digital and organic social marketing efforts across media platforms. This role involves managing planning, execution, and optimization of paid advertising campaigns to drive brand visibility, engagement, and conversions in coporation with Center and regional marketeers. Key responsibilities include:
Planning and execution of organic Social Media:
Oversee campaign planning and execution for paid media in close collaboration with the responsible stakeholders. This includes
  • Manage advertising budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
  • Audience Segmentation and Targeting: Utilize audience insights to identify data signals and target specific audience segments, optimizing ad targeting for relevance and effectiveness.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor campaign performance metrics in provided campaigns reports to stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams such as center and regional teams to align paid social media efforts with overall business objectives and ensure cohesive strategy execution.
It is expected that the right candidate keep updated on industry research and competitive trends. Conduct ongoing research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and market developments to inform paid social media strategies and identify opportunities for innovation. Continuous Learning and Development: Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in paid digital marketing, actively seeking out opportunities for professional growth through training and industry engagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
8-10 years of experience in digital marketing, possibly with a focus on paid social media advertising.
Proficiency in ad management platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, etc.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive insights and decision-making.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Proven track record of managing successful paid digital media campaigns and achieving measurable results.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Creative thinking and a passion for innovation in digital marketing.
Familiarity with CRM systems and customer segmentation strategies.
Commitment to staying updated on industry trends and best practices in paid digital marketing.
  • Have a strong understanding of digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of digital media analytics.
  • Have strong collaboration, people skills and stakeholder management.
  • Experienced planning and coordination know-how with attention to detail.
  • Ability to convert learnings from analytics and tracking into actionable improved social media content.
  • Passionate about and in tune with the latest digital media trends, across platforms and user behaviour.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, social listening, and the evolution of digital and Social media best practices.
  • Strategic thinker who can work with other partners to develop best in class ideas and oversee the execution.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter who is always thinking a step ahead.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with an in-house creative delivery team or commissioning freelancers/agencies.
  • Ability to distinguish between, local, regional, and global cultural trends.
