Manager/Senior Manager - Market Planning


Roles and Responsibilities:


- In-depth exposure in automotive research and planning
- Expert in communication & brand planning basis the relevant consumer insights and Kia brand guiding principles
- Should be able to help KMI understand the consumers better and deliver better across their value chain
- Expert in Indian Automobile customer segmentation studies and insight mining
- Brand investigation & selection study including competitor brand strengths & loyalty study, as well as brand acceptance & opportunity
- Brand Track- Identify brand position relative to market & competition
- Work closely with Advertising/ Digital team to collaborate consumer insights for product launch and promotion strategies
- Execute effective consumer research methodologies
- Customer segmentation studies - Brand acceptance and awareness studies
- Identifying and executing primary research including focus group interviews, communication testing dipsticks, ethnographies, and other creative methods to identify customer needs
- Monitor industry trends and assess market potential for each product - Identify new trends in technology and its impact on the business
Required Skills:
- Experience in brand communication, strategy , planning and research
- A proven track record of delivering within the desired timelines within a tough environment
- Strategic thinking/ analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A high degree of social confidence and presentation skills
- Effective project management skills
