Commercial Leasing Manager - Real Estate


Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Leasing to oversee our leasing activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Real Estate market, negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with potential tenants. The Manager of Leasing will play a key role in maximizing property value and ensuring optimal occupancy rates.
Additional Responsibilities:
Leasing Strategy:
- Develop and implement leasing strategies for properties in line with overall business objectives.
- Analyse market trends and competition to identify opportunities and threats.
Tenant Relations:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing tenants to ensure satisfaction and lease renewals.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and lease negotiations.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create effective marketing campaigns to attract potential tenants.
- Develop promotional materials and strategies to showcase available spaces.
Job Title: Leasing Manager
Negotiation and Deal Closure:
- Negotiate lease agreements to achieve favorable terms for the company.
- Conduct market analysis to determine appropriate rental rates and leasing terms.
Prospecting and Acquisition:
- Identify potential tenants through proactive prospecting and networking.
- Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease execution.
Legal Compliance:
- Ensure that all leasing activities comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with legal teams to draft and review lease agreements.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis related to leasing decisions, including rent forecasting and budgeting.
- Monitor and report on leasing performance and variances.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Proven experience of 5+ years in leasing, preferably in Real Estate.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of Real Estate laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and leasing management software.
- Should be a team player.
- Preferred experience in IPC's or Real Estate would help.
