Why this job matters
This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the development, testing and delivery of applications that support our next generation Broadband CPE, including Broadband Smart Hubs, Complete Wi-Fi and Hybrid Connect (4G) modems.
You will need to work effectively as part of UK based agile squads, responsible for the design and development of cutting edge client applications, working alongside highly skilled software and networking developers and testers, within the Broadband Devices tribe.

What you'll be doing
Responsible for technical leadership of the BB mobile app development and people leadership of the local team
Lead the web development for our next generation converged products and services
Deliver resolutions to problems that tend to be complex, cross-domain or of high impact to customers.
Provide technical quality assurance over work of other engineers through matrix team structure
Working effectively as part of UK based Agile delivery squads
Using scrum/JIRA/Wiki for tracking agile workflow deliveries
Supporting proactive improvement initiatives
The Skills you'll need
Extensive knowledge of React, Javascript, CSS, HTML
Extensive knowledge of AWS services used in the development, build and deployment of Web Applications
Using code revision, issue tracking and continuous integration tools, i.e. git, JIRA, Gitlab
Good knowledge of Agile delivery methods and tools, e.g. scrum/JIRA/wiki
Ability to clearly communicate complex technical material
Ability to self-develop in required areas
Experience you'd be expected to have
MANDATORY
Strong experience in a complex technical lead role
At least 5 years industry leading class hands on skills and knowledge on Web app development with recent experience in React.
Experience of interacting with senior stakeholders from across the business
Prior experience of having release responsibility for large software projects
PREFEREED
Experience in web technologies such as React, Angular, JS, HTML
Experience in UX/UI design
Experience in mobile app development
