Address Job Description Summary
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to spearhead our Manufacturing & Fabrication operation of Cryogenic Pressure Vessels. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in the manufacturing of various Cryogenic Pressure Vessels (storage tanks, transport vessels, vaporizers, etc.) for different types of cryogens (Nitrogen, Helium, Hydrogen, Argon, Oxygen, and LNG). This role requires an expert capable of optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Job Description
Your Role:
- Manufacturing and Operations:
- Oversee the entire manufacturing process of Cryogenic Pressure Vessels, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and implement manufacturing SOPs that align with industry best practices focusing on cost-effectiveness and wastage reduction
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends, integrating new ideas and methods into the manufacturing process.
- Project Management and coordination:
- Manage projects from order to delivery, interfacing with cross-functional teams including engineering & design, planning, sales, purchasing, and testing.
- Address and resolve manufacturing issues promptly, maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and trust.
- Collaborate and regularly communicate with engineering and design teams to ensure manufacturability of new designs, enhancements to existing products, and design changes.
- Encourage and spearhead initiatives for process automation and digital transformation in the manufacturing setup to ensure adherence to allocated budget.
- Quality Control and Compliance:
- Enforce strict quality control procedures and compliance with international standards (ASME, EN, IBR, etc.) in manufacturing processes.
- Stay current with industry standards and regulations, particularly those related to Cryogenic Pressure Vessels, ensuring full compliance in all manufacturing processes.
- Implement Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide Guidance and direction to the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and safety.
- Mentor and develop staff, identifying training needs and opportunities for growth and advancement within the team.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field, with extensive experience in industrial manufacturing.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, with a strong focus on Cryogenic Pressure Vessels or related heavy industrial equipment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
- Advanced knowledge of fabrication and welding process, knowledge of fixtures and tooling, understanding of machining activities.
Desired Skills and Characteristics :
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies specific to Cryogenic Pressure Vessels.
- Excellent communication, responsive and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of international and national standards and codes relevant to cryogenic manufacturing.
- PMP, Lean Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen certification is desirable.
- Knowledge on HSEIA & HSE studies - (i.e., HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, LOPA, QRA, SIMOPS, DERA, Bow-Tie- Analysis, What-if Analysis, EIA, HSECES PS, FEHA, FMEA, H2S Zoning Study, EERA, ESSA, F&G mapping study, Noise Study & etc.)
