Form of workResponsibilities:
1. Land Surveying: Conduct precise land surveys using Total Station equipment to determine property boundaries, topography, and existing structures.
2. Data Collection: Accurately collect and record field data, including measurements, coordinates, and other relevant information required for construction and development projects.
3. Site Analysis: Perform site analysis to assess the feasibility of construction projects, considering factors such as slope, soil conditions, and drainage.
4. Coordinate with Project Team: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and timely provision of surveying data for project planning and execution.
5. Quality Control: Conduct quality control checks to ensure the accuracy of survey data and identify and resolve discrepancies.
6. Adherence to Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant surveying standards, codes, and regulations.
7. Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for the proper maintenance and calibration of Total Station equipment to ensure accurate measurements.
8. Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed survey records, reports, and drawings.
9. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while conducting surveys on construction sites.
10. Training: Provide training and guidance to junior surveying staff as needed.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Total Station Surveyor, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
3. Technical Skills: Proficient in using Total Station equipment and surveying software. Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software is a plus.
4. Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
5. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze and solve complex surveying challenges.
6. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in surveying work.
7. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
8. Adaptability:Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
