- As the Financial Analysis professional in our Asset & Wealth Management (AWM), you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
- Your team will be Global Private Bank Banking Finance which provides financial analytical and reporting services including budgeting/forecasting, weekly/monthly business drivers, expense management, Regulatory reporting and strategic planning services. The team works closely with the GPB Regional & Product CFO teams and supports AWM Marketing CFO in addition to the Asset Wealth Management (AWM) CFO/P&A team ad hoc requests.
Job Responsibilities:
The person will develop a solid understanding of regions and products across GPB and be able to articulate trends and business drivers for management decision support. The person will work very closely with respective CFO and CEO teams to manage HC and Expenses and of the business provide management insights, reporting and analytics.
The main tasks include:
- Responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting the headcount and expenses for the Global Private Bank business. The key responsibilities include:
- Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible.
- Work with various Essbase add-ins and reporting databases to manage reporting changes.
- Contribute ideas around improving reporting capabilities and new projects
- Helping design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management
- Partnering with the CFO/ CEO for Headcount & Expense management and reorganization of functions which includes cost center management and historical restatements
- Driving Headcount & Expense initiatives eg. location strategy
- Managing the monthly forecast and annual budget cycle
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Minimum of CA or an MBA in Finance is required
- 3+ years of Finance experience, preferably in Financial Services industry & Headcount and Expense Experience
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, preferably with experience of Hyperion Essbase and Access.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Positive attitude and demonstrate intellectual curiosity
- Excellent organizational, management, both verbal & written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.
- The ability to comprehend and clearly communicate complex concepts and maintain composure in a large group setting with multiple
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience in Tableau, Python and Alteryx will be a plus
