Position Type: Full time

Education and training requirements:

1. Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and strategies
2. Relevant work experience in sales, marketing, promotions or telemarketing
3. Product knowledge

Work Experience: 1-2 years’ work experience, preferably in a related field.

Purpose of Role:

Contact businesses and individuals by telephone in order to seek promote art4u.com’s products and services, gather information, verify details and seek appointments for the business development team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Contact businesses and private individuals by telephone to promote products, services and seek appointments for the business development team.
2. Explain the product or service to potential customers
3. Deliver scripted sales pitch to the customer
4. Adjust scripted sales pitch to meet needs of specific individuals
5. Handle customer questions
6. Obtain customer information including names and addresses
7. Record customer details including reaction to the product or service offered
8. Input prospect details into the computer system for team’s scheduling and marketing purposes.
9. Obtain contact details of potential customers from sources including telephone directories and purchased lists
10. Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers
11. Answer telephone calls from potential customers who are responding to advertisements
12. Contact customers to follow up on initial interaction
