Head of HR & Administration - Animal Healthcare Sector


Job Location: Remote location near Ahmedabad


Key Responsibilities:
1. Formulate and execute HR strategies, ensuring their alignment with the overall business objectives.
2. Supervise the entire spectrum of HR functions, encompassing recruitment, training and development, performance management, employee relations, and payroll administration (the current HR & Admin team consists of 11 people).
3. Uphold legal compliance across all aspects of human resource management.
4. Oversee the recruitment process to attract top-calibre talent, including tasks such as job posting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
5. Devise and put into action strategies for employee retention.
6. Efficiently administer compensation and benefits plans.
7. Conduct comprehensive performance and salary reviews, delivering transparent communication and constructive feedback.
8. Resolve employee relations issues and address grievances effectively.
9. Develop programs for training and development to elevate employee skills and performance.
10. Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment that mirrors the organisation's values and culture.
11. Analyse patterns in compensation and benefits, research, and propose competitive base and incentive pay structures.
12. Provide strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the top management.
