The candidate will play a leadership role at the Global Tax Services (GTS). He would be reporting to the Director - of F&A and Head of Global Delivery in US.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
- Tax Preparation: States sales and Use tax of various states including Forms 1120, 1120S, 1099, FinCEN Form 114, and other relevant forms as required.
- Liaising with Tax Auditors for preparation of US Corporate Income tax returns, Partnership Returns of Income of various US states, and Franchise Tax Annual Reports.
- Compliance Review: Review tax documents, financial statements, and relevant records to ensure accuracy and adherence to tax laws and regulations.
- Research: Stay up to date with changes in tax laws, regulations, and codes to provide informed advice and make necessary adjustments in tax returns.
- Deduction and Credit Maximization: Identify potential deductions, credits, and exemptions that can minimize clients' tax liabilities while remaining compliant with tax laws and make strategic tax decisions to optimize tax positions for the future.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all tax-related documents and communications with clients.
- Ensure timely submission of tax returns and adherence to all relevant tax deadlines.
- Review and Accounting for Benefits deductions, monitor overall Benefit cost and report any unreasonable fluctuations with a suitable explanation.
- Review existing Insurance coverage, and highlight gaps or redundant coverages.
- Supporting the month-end accounting and reporting process.
- Review of month-end accounting JEs posted by the team to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Maintaining & reviewing all monthly BS schedules like accrued exp, prepaid schedules, deferred revenue schedules, etc.
