AddressRole & responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
a) Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the Aggregation Business, aligned with overall company goals.
b) Provide visionary leadership to the aggregation team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
2. Business Development:
a) Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and market presence.
b) Build and maintain strong relationships with SME contractors, general contractors, labor contractors, PMCs, and developers.
3. Operational Excellence:
a) Oversee the end-to-end aggregation process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of raw materials.
b) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory management and logistics for seamless operations.
4. Vendor Management:
a) Negotiate and establish partnerships with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
b) Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality and delivery standards.
5. Market Analysis:
a) Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
b) Conduct regular market research to identify potential areas for business expansion and improvement.
6. Team Development:
a) Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing aggregation team.
b) Provide ongoing training to ensure team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed for success.
Preferred candidate profile:
1. Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
2. Proven experience (8+ years) in a leadership role within the construction materials or related industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of raw materials procurement, logistics, and supply chain management.
4. Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
6. Demonstrated success in business development and market expansion.
7. Ability to analyse data, interpret trends, and make data-driven decisions.
8. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for supply chain management.
