Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal advice to senior management on a wide range of legal issues affecting the organization.
- Manage and oversee the legal department.
- Develop and implement legal strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard the organization's interests and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts, agreements, and legal documents, including but not limited to, vendor contracts, employment agreements, and licensing agreements.
- Monitor and evaluate legal risks associated with business activities and provide proactive guidance to mitigate such risks.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings, including litigation, arbitration, and regulatory investigations.
- Collaborate with external legal counsel on complex legal matters and manage the legal budget effectively.
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization and advise management accordingly.
- Develop and conduct legal training programs for employees to promote awareness of legal issues and compliance requirements.
- Foster a culture of ethics, integrity, and compliance throughout the organization.
Experience
- Must have international law experience.
- Minimumm 8 years experience with a Listed company.
