Role description:
- Understanding of GIS and allied fields such as Remote Sensing.
- Understanding of Mapping, Geo-Database concepts, GIS solutions etc.
- Good understanding and working knowledge of various GIS software’s such as Ésri Suite of products, CAD software etc.
- Prepare and execute workflows and geoprocessing models using ArcGIS Model Builder, Python, Arcade.
- Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle fast paced work environment on a variety of projects.
- Must be motivated, detail oriented, and a team player.
Role accountabilities:
To work as a GIS professional to provide GIS support for designing, engineering, and consultancy services for building of natural and built assets.
- Creation of GIS data sets from multiple sources.
- Providing GIS analysis, spatial data management and map production.
- Contributing to the ongoing development of GIS processes and providing innovative solutions to align GIS with business requirements.
- Providing web / mobile based mapping and development solutions using ESRI technology.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Geography /Geology /GIS /Information Technology /Remote Sensing Science or any other related fields.
- Any Certification in GIS Certificate/Remote Sensing is preferable.
- Up to 2 years of relevant professional experience in GIS
