Cloud-based TMS (Transportation Management Software) to help reduce the procure to cash cycle for freight 2. Visibility platform to build real-time visibility across the value chain to improve turnaround time. 3. Freight Assignment platform to help logistics service providers transparently source vehicles and get them paid faster. We take pride in processing an impressive 4% of Indias total freight on our platform, serving a vast network of 400+ shippers, 1500+ logistics service providers (LSPs), across 90,000+ locations. Our exceptional clientele includes over 300 industry titans, including Saint Gobain, Dalmia Group, JSW Steel, ITC, DHL, MRF, and Pernod Ricard. Software-led approaches can be the lever to transform existing assets in the industry and supercharge them to work more efficiently for all stakeholders. Essentially, our logistics system can become like a bullet train and Freight Tiger is laying down the tracks. We do this without disintermediating anyone, allowing us to build trust & facilitate collaboration across the value chain. About the Role : - Data Analytics Engineer is an Individual Contributor role who provides actionable insights to multiple stakeholders ( both internal and external ) & will be part of the centralized data team in Freight Tiger and owns both the compute & publish layer for all the products of FT. Key responsibilities : - Contribute to the strategy, vision, architecture, and execution for data platform and self-serve Data Analytics systems - Collaboration with Engineering teams to fulfill the data requirements to meet the needs of internal and external customers, ultimately contributing to the consumer user growth - Work with Data Analytics tools such as PowerBI, tableau to generate reports and dashboards. - Work with large data systems, such as SQL/T-SQL, Hadoop, Presto, Kafka or Spark Engine (Azure Synapse/Databricks/HDInsight or other distributions) - Provide relevant data to the customers and business teams to conceptualize and build dashboards that are simple, visually appealing, yet showcase a powerful story. - Solve ambiguous problems using data and providing practical business insights. - Passionate about doing POCs, & introducing latest software/tools in market that helps in cost saving, job monitoring, logging, optimization, scalability and better customer experience Preferred qualifications : - Bachelor/Master degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Data science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field - 3+ years of hands-on experience with big data technologies as well as Data Analytics tools, SQL or any querying language, ETL - Experience working any of the public cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP - Data Warehousing & Data Modelling experience with star and snowflake schema - Experience working with CI/CD pipeline - Experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to Python, Scala - Excellent data visualization skills to be able to present insights that drive business impact - Excellent communication & collaboration skills - Good to have experience working with machine learning models (ref:hirist.com)
