As a Fashion Merchandiser, you will play a pivotal role in curating and presenting our extensive product range on our e-commerce platform. You will need to have a deep understanding of various textiles and fabrics, as well as the ability to organize and manage product data efficiently. Your role will also involve crafting compelling product descriptions and engaging copy for our website and social media platforms.Key Responsibilities:
- Enter product data, ensuring accuracy and completeness, onto our e-commerce platform.
- Collaborate closely with the design and marketing teams to understand the unique features and benefits of each fabric.
- Curate and organize product categories for optimal user experience.
- Write engaging and informative product descriptions and copy for our website and social media platforms.
- Research and stay updated on current fashion trends, fabric usage, and industry developments.
- Ensure that product listings are visually appealing and showcase our fabrics in the best possible light.
- Use Excel and other tools to track product inventory, sales, and website performance.
- Assist in creating and executing marketing campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Contribute to maintaining a cohesive and on-brand online presence.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve the customer shopping experience on our website.
Qualifications:
- A deep understanding of textiles and fabrics and their applications in the fashion industry.
- Graduation from a well-established fashion school.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Excel for data management and analysis.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills.
- Creative thinking and the ability to craft engaging and persuasive copy.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and content management systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their best practices for business is preferred.
