- Our company is seeking a skilled and experienced Data Warehouse Engineer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in ETL tools such as AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Fivetran, Talend, Pentaho and others.
- They should possess a strong command of SQL, including query performance tuning and index management, as well as a solid understanding of database structures and data modeling concepts.
- In this role, the Data Warehouse Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining data warehouses for our clients.
- They will design, automate, and support complex data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) applications.
Required Skills And Responsibilities :
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Pentaho, Datastage, Azure Data factory.
- Very good SQL knowledge including query performance tuning, index management, etc.
- Proficient in data modeling concepts.
- Familiarity with various SQL/NoSQL data storage techniques and Big Data technologies.
- Certified in any ETL tool or cloud data engineering.
Desired Skills :
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Good coding skills (Python and any other programming language).
- Knowledge of Spark.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data-related issues in a distributed compute environment (whether on-prem or on cloud)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities :
- Build data warehouse and ETL pipelines for our customers utilizing various data warehousing ideas.
- Design, automate, and support sophisticated data extraction, transformation, and loading applications.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
