We are looking for an enthusiastic English/Arts & Crafts Teacher who is passionate about making a positive impact on children. The ideal candidate should be adept at engaging with students from rural areas, inspiring them to express their thoughts and ideas creatively and confidently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons that develop language skills and encourage creative expression.
- Plan and conduct arts and crafts sessions that stimulate creativity and allow students to explore various mediums of expression.
- Understand and respect the backgrounds of students, adapting teaching methods to suit their unique needs and experiences.
- Foster a supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to express their ideas and thoughts.
- Contribute to the development of innovative and inclusive curricular materials for English and arts education.
- Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians about student progress and involve them in the learning process.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Teaching certification (as per state or national requirements).
- Proven experience in teaching English and/or arts and crafts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity in lesson planning and teaching methods.
- Empathy and patience in dealing with students from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience teaching in rural or multicultural settings.
- Additional qualifications or certifications in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL).
- Skills in various artistic techniques and mediums.
