Role Description:
Reporting directly to the CEO - CMR Group of Institutions and Pro Chancellor - CMR University, the Strategic Executive Assistant would be exposed to an accelerated learning curve wherein the opportunity to work across multiple functions would broaden his/her spectrum of understanding for the education sector.
The Strategic Executive Assistant must be creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. Passion for the education sector and a desire to make an impact is critical. The ideal individual will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Strategic:
- Work on projections, monitoring outcomes, and recommend suitable actions on a regular basis
- Organize and ensure weekly review meetings with members of the team.
- Attend and proactively minute all meetings and prepare action lists.
- Prepare follow-up correspondence for internal and external meetings.
- Conduct fact checking-in support of all communications.
Research:
- Assist in preparation for workshops, training sessions, staff meetings etc.
- Research, analyze and present data to enable decision making.
- Prepare and format reports and documents for internal and external use often within short time frames.
- Editing and preparing articles to be published.
- Being willing and able to provide an opinion and insight based on this research
- Perform research, data collection, statistical compilation, document generation as necessary to complete special projects
Administrative:
- Prepare and maintain confidential administrative files.
- Maintain up-to-date contact information for all partners and network and ensure that relationships are nurtured appropriately.
- Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval system.
Technology:
- Spearhead the integration of cutting-edge technologies into strategic initiatives, ensuring the team is well-equipped to leverage tech tools for data analysis, reporting, and communication.
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and implementation of technology solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project management and SOP creation.
- Collaborate with IT teams to develop and maintain technological infrastructure that supports data-driven decision-making and seamless communication.
Analytics:
- Design and implement robust analytics frameworks to gather, process, and analyze data, providing actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) using advanced analytics techniques to monitor project progress and overall institutional performance.
- Regularly conduct data audits to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and relevance, employing analytics to drive continuous improvement.
Project Management:
- Employ project management methodologies to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of special -initiated projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Utilize project management tools to create timelines, allocate resources effectively, and monitor project milestones, promoting efficiency and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
Creating and Implementing SOP:
- Lead the development and refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring they align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
- Utilize a systematic approach to create, review, and update SOPs, incorporating feedback from key stakeholders and leveraging technology for documentation and dissemination.
- Train team members on SOPs and ensure adherence to established processes, driving a culture of operational excellence.
- Continuously assess and improve SOPs based on feedback, technological advancements, and changing organizational needs.
Qualifications:
- MBA with experience in supporting C-level Executives
- 2-3 years in consulting or general management
Required Core Competencies:
- Preference for someone with a technological bend of mind and is adaptive to use the latest technology
- Motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
- Should be great at number crunching and analytical skills
- Should have good sense of time management, planning & organizing
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and Social Media Networking
