About the role:
A job role in taxation involves working in the field of taxation, which is a crucial aspect of financial andv economic systems. Taxation professionals play a vital role in ensuring that the business and organization complies with the applicable tax laws and regulations in the most diligent manner.
What will you do day-to-day?
- Ensure accurate and timely calculation and payment of Direct & Indirect Taxes and filling of relevant returns (GST/TDS/TCS/VAT)
- Scrutinization of Ledger/Accounts and check TDS/GST/TCS are in place
- Support in Tax assessments, Audits and ongoing litigations with Tax Authorities and maintain their records
- Timely filing of replies related to TDS, GST & VAT Notices/queries
- Preparing Tax tracker with complete updation on monthly Tax Payables, Outstanding Tax demand, Tax Notices, Pending Assessments, Orders and Rectification
- Review and Reconcile of GSTR 2B/26AS vs Books of accounts and identify the pending entries
Return vs Books:
- Periodic tax accounting reconciliations and MIS reporting
- Ensuring Timely issuance & follow ups for Statutory forms (TDS certificate / C & F Forms) from Internal and external Department.
- Timely Update on tax portal regard to change in director, Address etc.
- In other tax supports like suggestion to finance team for TDS, GST tax rate and accounting entries.
What are we looking for?
Technical Qualifications:
- CA with 4-5 years of experience into Taxation (both Direct & Indirect), including Litigation matters.
- Knowledge of various compliance such as TDS, TCS, GST, VAT, Tax Audit, GST Audit, Transfer Pricing etc.
- Must be updated with the latest updates, notifications, and circulars issued by the Tax departments.
Soft Skills:
- Should be a team player and willing to work for extended working hours whenever required
- A positive and constructive approach both as a team player as well as in supporting positive image of Indobevs.
- Able to negotiate with different levels in the organization, to close the discussion to derive the conclusions and to handle the conflicts (if any).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
