Education: BTech/ MTech in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering
Reporting to: Platform Lead
Experience: 6 to 8 years
Job Summary:
Responsible for innovation projects from Discovery phase to Design implementation. Provide Innovative solutions through effective Brainstorming and using of Concept selection matrix tools and best practice techniques.
Responsibilities & Skills:
- Owning Mechanical product designs, components, system level or sub-systems levels.
- Hands on experience in design hand calculations, DFMEA.
- Strong Understanding of IP (intellectual property) and Patent analysis.
- Excellent understanding of materials, processes, and finishes.
- Exposure to manufacturing environment,
- Experience in product performance/reliability/prototyping and testing.
- A deep understanding of Plastics design and its Processing.
- Proficiency in CAD Tools (SOLIDWORKS Preferred)
- Identify and develop intellectual property (IP) related to new concepts and designs.
- Research new product ideas, technologies, and methods to produce innovative designs, improvement performance and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with design requirements and regulations.
- Exposure in design simulation tools.
