What would you do? You will be part of the Technology for Operations team that acts as a trusted advisor and partner to Accenture Operations. The team provides innovative and secure technologies to help clients build an intelligent operating model, driving exceptional results. We work closely with the sales, offering and delivery teams to identify and build innovative solutions. The Tech For Operations (TFO) team provides innovative and secure technologies to help clients build an intelligent operating model, driving exceptional results. Works closely with the sales, offering and delivery teams to identify and build innovative solutions. Major sub deals include AHO(Application Hosting Operations), ISMT (Infrastructure Management), Intelligent Automation An open source relational database management system based on Structured Query Language. MySQL runs on virtually all platforms, including Linux, UNIX, and Windows.
What are we looking for? •MySQL •PostgreSQL •Database Administration •Ability to establish strong client relationship •Hands-on experience with trouble-shooting •Strong analytical skills •Linux Containers Administration. • Must have 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in MYSQL/PostgreSQL Database Administration. • Experience in configuring streaming replication and troubleshooting replication issues clusters. • Monitor production database for regular maintenance activities like vacuuming and re-indexing. • Good administration skills on Operating Systems like LINUX(SUSE/UBUNTU)/AIX/Windows. • Good to have Hands-on experience in configuring and supporting Streaming Replication and Cluster setups.
Roles and Responsibilities: ••In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of lower-complexity problems • Your day to day interaction is with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors • In this role you may have limited exposure with clients and/or Accenture management • You will be given moderate level instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instructions on new assignments • The decisions you make impact your own work and may impact the work of others • You will be an individual contributor as a part of a team, with a focused scope of work • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts • Managing the PostgreSQL databases for development, test, acceptance, and production environments. • Configure and maintain PostgreSQL database servers and processes on-prem and Azure cloud. • Experience in Installing PostgreSQL on Linux/Ubuntu and windows systems. • Hands on experience in Performance tuning, reviewing & fixing the database issues. • Experience in Backup and restoration of MYSQL/PostgreSQL databases and define strategy for large database backup (incremental) and restore. • Experience in configuring user access privileges.
