Controls Documentation Engineer

Location: Bangalore / Pune

Position Overview:

Controls Documentation Engineer will contribute to the development and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for control systems. This role involves creating, updating, and managing documentation to ensure clarity and accessibility for cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop clear and comprehensive documentation for control systems, including but not limited to system architecture, design specifications, and user manuals.

· Regularly update and maintain existing control system documentation to reflect changes, improvements, and new functionalities.

· Implement documentation standards and best practices to ensure consistency across control system documentation.

· Work closely with controls engineers, software developers, and validation teams to gather information and insights for accurate documentation.

· Maintain version control for all control system documentation to track changes and ensure traceability.

· Conduct reviews of documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards before finalization.

· Identify opportunities for process improvement in documentation creation and maintenance, implementing efficiency-enhancing strategies.

· Ensure that control system documentation complies with industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.

· Proven experience in developing and maintaining documentation for complex control systems.

· Familiarity with documentation tools and standards.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

· Proficiency in version control systems and documentation management.

· Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to control system documentation in the automotive industry.
