Job Description:
1. Design and Architecture: Collaborate with the network architecture team to design and plan the implementation of Prisma SD-WAN solutions based on business requirements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive network architecture documentation.
2. Implementation and Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of Prisma SD-WAN devices and components. Ensure proper integration with existing network infrastructure and security measures.
Optimize SD-WAN policies to achieve optimal performance, reliability, and Quality of Service (QoS).
3. Security Integration: Implement and maintain security measures within the SD-WAN environment, aligning with organizational security policies. Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to address potential threats and vulnerabilities.
4. Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance of the Prisma SD-WAN infrastructure and proactively address any issues. Optimize SD-WAN configurations to enhance network efficiency and resource utilization.
5. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network operations, security, and IT support, to address network-related challenges .Provide technical support and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
6. Documentation and Training: Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of the Prisma SD-WAN environment. Develop training materials and provide training sessions to internal teams as necessary.
Qualifications Required:
a. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
b. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing SD-WAN solutions, with a focus on Prisma SD-WAN.
c. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, routing, and switching.
d. Familiarity with security principles and best practices.
e. Relevant certifications, such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or equivalent.
f. Demonstrating strong domain expertise and thought leadership to clients in the cyber security space
Preferred:
1) Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing SD-WAN solutions, with a focus on Prisma SD-WAN.
2) Strong knowledge of networking protocols, routing, and switching.
3) Familiarity with security principles and best practices.
4) Relevant certifications, such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or equivalent.
5) Knowledge of network automation tools and scripting languages a plus not mandatory
