Job Description :
Seeking an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect with a proven track record in designing and implementing scalable and supportable cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will be adept at working independently or leading a team, demonstrating expertise in both technical aspects and team management.
As a Cloud Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the long term engineering strategy, collaborating with senior technical staff, and working closely with diverse teams across various projects. Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes, you will contribute to building high performing tech teams that support and scale our company.
The role requires not only technical proficiency but also excellent communication and leadership skills. You will bridge the gap between technical details and broader project discussions, ensuring alignment and consistency across engineering disciplines.
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement infrastructure foundational services and application environment architecture on Cloud Platforms (Google, Azure, or AWS).
- Produce multi-tier, high-availability architectures in an Enterprise & cloud environment, ensuring adherence to DR, Business Continuity, and availability best practices.
- Utilize application and infrastructure management and monitoring tools to enable cloud-native operations and monitoring.
- Define and implement policies for cloud environments, ensuring effective monitoring and alerting.
- Work with Cloud IAM, Active Directory, Windows NAS, NFS, Storage, Backups, Oracle, SQL Server, Firewalls, and Cloud Load Balancing solutions on AWS/Azure or GCP.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in IaaS components such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes, VPC, DNS, Interconnect, VPN, CDN, Cloud Storage, FileStore, Deployment Manager, etc.
- Perform operational maintenance activities, including platform upgrades, patching, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with distributed international teams in different time zones if required.
- Act as a technical liaison between the customer and portfolio, providing technical expertise in analyzing requirements, recommending solutions, and performing validation in the new cloud environment.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Work as a team player, taking ownership of issues and collaborating with cross-functional teams in problem-solving.
- Act as a trusted advisor for cloud initiatives, providing practical and achievable solutions/ideas according to customer needs.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise in cloud-related matters.
- Demonstrate proficiency in security aspects, including data security and infrastructure security.
- Implement and maintain security measures aligned with industry best practices.
- Obtain and maintain Cloud Architect certification (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Utilize scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Jenkins, Lambda, Chef, Puppet) to streamline DevOps processes.
- Implement automation solutions for improved efficiency and scalability.
Must Haves :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field..
- Expertise in automation concepts and tools in a hybrid environment.
- Proficient in at least one of the major Cloud Platforms: Google, Azure, or AWS.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing infrastructure foundational services and cloud architecture.
- Experience with high-availability architectures, disaster recovery, and business continuity in an enterprise and cloud environment.
- Familiarity with application and infrastructure management and monitoring tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Cloud IAM, Active Directory, Windows/Linux, NAS, NFS, Storage, Backups, Oracle, SQL Server, Firewalls, and Cloud Load Balancing solutions.
- Extensive experience in IaaS components such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes, VPC, DNS, Interconnect, VPN, CDN, Cloud Storage, FileStore, Deployment Manager, etc.
- Cloud certification as a Cloud Architect (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
- Strong scripting and automation skills, including Python, PowerShell, Jenkins, Lambda, Chef, and Puppet.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience : 10 Years and 2+ years in Cloud Architect.
