Currently, we are looking for an AVP - Sales, who will drive our sales efforts and contribute to the growth and success of our company.
What you'll do:
- Ownership of Targets and PnL: Take full ownership of sales targets and drive the Profit and Loss (PnL) for the government exams category. Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Learning and Development (L&D) Setup: Develop and implement effective training programs for the sales team to enhance product knowledge, customer engagement, and sales techniques. Ensure ongoing training and development initiatives to keep the team updated on industry trends and competitive offerings.
- Trainer Management and Sales Planning: Oversee a team of trainers, providing guidance and support to consistently deliver high-quality training programs. Collaborate with the sales team to create comprehensive sales plans, setting clear targets and strategies for achieving sales goals.
- Customer Pitching: Work closely with the sales team to refine and improve customer pitching techniques, ensuring compelling presentations.
- Recovery Method: Develop and implement strategies for recovering potentially lost opportunities, analyzing and addressing customer objections effectively.
- Post-Sales Support: Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure seamless post-sales service, fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Motivation and Team Building: Implement motivational programs to boost the morale and performance of the sales team. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging teamwork and achievement of common goals.
- Promotions and Incentives: Design and execute promotions and incentive programs to drive sales performance. Utilize a deep understanding of incentive methods to optimize the sales compensation structure.
- Good with Numbers: Analyze sales data and metrics to make informed decisions and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Productivity Methods: Implement and refine productivity methods within the sales team, optimizing workflows and efficiency.
- Growth Strategies: Develop and execute growth strategies for the government exams category, identifying new markets and opportunities.
You should apply if you have:

- Bring your A-game: Have 7-10 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the education or e-learning industry with a degree in Bachelor of Technology.
- Are a born leader: Can rally teams towards a common goal & troubleshoot to remove blockers for other team members.
- Always go for gold: Have strong business acumen and problem-solving aptitude with a knack for finding innovative solutions to business problems.
- Improvise and innovate: Think quickly on your feet and have extreme ownership of problems faced by your clients.
